Morning Rise Bakehouse

Questions

Good to know

How do I order?
Each week we post a menu with a set number of each loaf. Place an order before the window closes, pay online, and pick a pickup or delivery time. We bake only what was ordered.
When do orders close?
Orders close a couple of days before bake day so we can buy flour and plan the bake. The exact cutoff is shown at the top of the order page.
How does pickup work?
Porch pickup from the shelf by the door during your chosen window. You'll get the address by email as soon as your order is confirmed.
Do you deliver?
Local delivery runs the same day as pickup, and we hand it to you in person — Texas cottage food rules don't allow us to ship bread.
Can you ship me bread?
No — Texas cottage food rules require that everything we sell is handed to you in person. That means pickup or local delivery only.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Change or cancel any time before the order window closes. After that the flour is measured and the bake is planned, so we can't refund.
What about allergies?
Everything is baked in one home kitchen. We can't guarantee any loaf is free of a given allergen.
How long does the bread keep?
Cut side down on a board, a loaf is good for three or four days. It freezes well too — slice it first, then toast from frozen.
